Give us a one-sentence description of Allie's music : Allie has songs you won't forget and a voice you don't want to forget.

Key career highlights :
Allie has worked with some of the best in the industry in many different aspects.

  • From writing, managing, booking, touring, performing, and helping with festivals to helping children that have special needs play music through charity - she has really done it all.
  • Some of the artists she has been associated or worked with include: Gov't Mule, North Mississippi Allstars, The Allman Brothers, Dickie Betts and Great Southern, Dr. John, Larry McCray, Frank Bang, Matt Besey and The Sauce Cats.
  • Some companies she's worked for include: MUSICTODAY, Redlight Management, Magnolia Entertainment and Records, Blues Bash By the Cass Festival, The Hang onto the Dream Foundation, The State Theater in Kalamazoo MI, and The Kalamazoo School of Music and Dance.

How and when Allie started making music : In grade school, Allie started taking guitar lessons. She joined in a church group and then into a band in high school that performed songs she had written in collaboration with the band.  She began working within the industry by 18 and went on tour with Larry McCray and The Allman Brothers at 19. She was the tour manager for Larry and helped put together his live album at the time. Allie then went on writing and performing her own songs. This is her first, long-awaited studio album.

What makes Allie's music different? There's a ghostly soul that underlies these rock songs that is both haunting and cheery. A combination that is precise with many people's lives and resonates with a wide audience. It is this bitter and sweet that makes you want to hear her songs, see her live, and buy the album so you can share in something moving. Once you hear her voice, you'll understand.

Convince me to see Allie's next show : Seeing Allie with or without her band is never a disappointment. If you're looking to hear these songs as they're recorded you'll hear just that. If you've never heard her songs, you won't look away. She has a mid-range clarity in her voice that pierces through the back of the crowd. Regardless of where you see her, it's guaranteed you'll want to see her again.

Why is it important for you to connect with music fans and what do you have to offer them as an artist? 'As an artist it is important to connect with your fans and do things for them since they are helping keep the music alive and heard. Fans are friends and friends are forever. This togetherness is created through good music, shows, the media, and the personal effort of the artist.

I pledge to myself and my fans that I will always deliver good music, togetherness, and personal attention. The only reason I want to write music is to draw friends and keep friends and family by bringing people together. I want to be there for people. To say what they can't. To do what they wish they could do but don't know how.

I want to help people and teach people through my music. Music is a major outlet for me to tell people how it is. How to overcome tragedy, helplessness, depression, sadness. I want to tell people how to love one another and create tolerance through being a role model for others. It is important to me to communicate well, deliver what the fans want to hear, and put on amazing performances in gratitude of the position my fans put me in.'
